Meet our Team

Lea Jabre

Lea is a Lebanese nonprofit leader, advocate, and strategist with over a decade of experience across Lebanon, West Africa, and the UK. Born in France and educated at University College London (UCL), she holds degrees in European Social & Political Studies and an MSc in International Public Policy.

After beginning her career in journalism and political consultancy focused on the MENA region, Lea transitioned into the nonprofit sector, where she has led fundraising, communications, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with institutions such as the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Following a rare disease diagnosis in 2021, she became an advocate for Stiff Person Syndrome and founded the globally recognised platforms Bent Not Broken and Heart to Heart Conversations.

Her proudest and latest achievement is being the co-founder of Boukra Nour NGO in Lebanon, dedicated to empowering children and marginalised communities through technology, healing, and education.

Georges Debbas

George Debas was born in Lebanon and grew up during the civil war, experiences that shaped his deep commitment to well-being and social impact. After moving to the UK in 2007, he built a career in the financial services industry while developing a strong interest in trauma-informed care, grounded in years of personal healing work.

In 2020, George took a sabbatical to support a UK not-for-profit serving children from abused and neglected backgrounds. Since then, he has focused on introducing innovative, technology-driven solutions and training to improve outcomes across the care system. His mission is to help democratise care—reducing administrative burden and enabling practitioners to focus on delivering informed, compassionate support. He holds degrees in Economics, Mathematics, and Finance, and is a proud father to Nour and Arthur.

Nada AbdelSater

Nada Abdelsater‐Abusamra is an international lawyer admitted to the Courts of New York and Beirut and in the Hague (Netherlands) where she acts as the legal representative of victims at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon looking into the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri.

She is the founding partner of ASAS Law, a Lebanese law firm with activities across the Middle East and extending to Europe, USA and commonwealth countries. She has a strong practice in international cross border transactions, litigation, and arbitration including notably white‐collar crimes, as well as complex commercial litigation, confiscation, freezing orders and cross border enforcement of judgements and arbitral awards.

Her clients includes high profile individuals and multinationals. She leads multi‐ faceted investigation processes and asset recovery proceedings across several jurisdictions according to rigorous and high professional standards.
